About Family Travel is an independent travel publication for parents, carers and multigenerational groups. Our guides help with the decisions that shape a trip: where to stay, how to organise a travel day, what to pack and how much to plan.
We publish destination guides alongside advice you can use in many places. Different budgets, ages and access needs call for different choices, so we explain trade-offs and give you questions to ask before booking.
Who writes the guides?
New and substantially expanded guides are prepared by the About Family Travel editorial team. Earlier articles carry their existing attribution to Anastasios Karagounis. A byline does not imply that a writer personally visited every place mentioned. We identify firsthand reporting when we have it.
